In my recent work I have been exploring using machine embroidery that I have designed and stitched. These pieces also incorporate fabric that has been printed upon. I love the stitch quality and using what is traditionally considered "womans" work to create my art pieces. The combination of these two mediums creates a beautifully complex yet simple art work. Just as I feel the role of woman in our society is, beautifully complex yet simple.
